Who operates this website
“Buildgrove” is the working business name used on this website. The owner is in the process of registering an Australian Business Number. The legal operator name, ABN and privacy contact details must be added here once confirmed. The business is intended to operate from Victoria, Australia.
Until those details and the applicable privacy obligations have been checked, this page remains a draft. ABN registration by itself does not determine which privacy laws apply to a business.
Information the website may collect
The website is designed to collect information only when a visitor chooses to use a feature that requests it. Do not submit sensitive, confidential or unnecessary personal information.
Project Builder and contact enquiries
If enquiry delivery is enabled, a submitted enquiry may include your name and email address, and any business name, town or suburb, phone number, project description, answers, feature choices and notes that you choose to provide. The contact form also asks for a message. The forms do not currently accept file uploads.
Unfinished Project Builder answers are saved in local storage in the browser on the device being used. They are not sent to the business merely by entering them. They are included in a server request only if you submit the completed enquiry. The browser draft may remain until you clear it, clear website storage or use a different browser or device.
Project estimate handoff
Using the estimate preview alone does not send or save your answers. If you continue to the Project Builder and choose to submit an enquiry, the estimate selections are included with the project details and contact information in the owner's private email notification. The server recalculates the estimate for that email; if approval, tax or cost checks require review, no numeric amount is included and the email explains that review is needed. A displayed estimate is not a fixed quote.
Website Health Check
If the Health Check is enabled, it processes the public page address and mobile-or-desktop test choice that you submit. The address is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights so it can test that page. Do not submit private, password-protected or personal-information-bearing URLs. The report is displayed in your browser and is not automatically sent as an enquiry. If you choose the enquiry handoff, a short report summary is temporarily held in session storage in that browser tab and can then become part of your saved project draft.
Technical and security information
Website hosting and abuse-prevention services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, requested page, browser or device information, and request time. The enquiry endpoint also sends the visitor IP address to Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse verification when that feature is enabled. The precise logs, fields and provider retention settings must be confirmed as part of launch configuration.
The site does not currently provide customer accounts, payments or file uploads.
Project drafts and browser storage
The Project Builder uses browser local storage to preserve an unfinished draft on the same device. A Health Check summary passed into the Project Builder uses session storage temporarily before it can be saved as part of that draft. This information remains under the browser profile on that device until it is cleared or removed. Avoid using a shared device for sensitive project information, and clear its site data if you want to remove a saved draft.
How information is used
If and when the relevant feature is enabled, information may be used to:
- read and respond to a question or project enquiry;
- understand the requested work and prepare a scope or proposal;
- run the website check you requested and show its results;
- verify requests and reduce automated abuse; and
- operate, maintain and protect the website and its services.
Submitting an enquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing. Any future marketing use or advertising measurement must be explained separately and configured with appropriate notice and consent choices.
Service providers and disclosures
The current site code is designed to use the following providers for particular functions. Features remain unavailable until their accounts and settings are configured. Provider terms, data handling settings and regional processing locations have not all been verified for a live deployment.
| Provider | Intended function | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Pages | Website hosting and server-side request handling. | Hosting and deployment arrangements to be confirmed before launch. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Anti-abuse verification for enquiry and, if enabled, Health Check forms. | Not configured for live submissions. |
| Resend | Send an enquiry notification to the owner's private inbox. | Not configured. The inbox address is kept out of public website content. |
| Google PageSpeed Insights | Test a public page address when a visitor requests a Health Check. | Health Check is not enabled for live use. |
When active, information is disclosed to a provider only as needed for its function, subject to the final configuration and provider terms. Providers may also handle information under their own privacy notices. The final notice must be checked against the accounts, contracts and settings actually selected.
Storage and overseas processing
Cloudflare, Resend and Google services may process or store information in more than one country. The exact service regions, any overseas disclosures and applicable safeguards have not yet been confirmed for this business's accounts. They must be checked and described accurately before the website accepts personal information.
How long information is kept
The retention period for enquiries that do not become customers has not yet been decided. Enquiry delivery is not ready for live use. Before activation, the business must decide and document a retention and deletion schedule that accounts for enquiry emails, provider logs, any customer records and applicable legal obligations.
Project drafts saved in your browser remain there until you or someone with access to that browser removes them. The owner’s email system and service providers may have separate storage, backup and deletion schedules that must be checked before launch.
Security and data incidents
Enquiry forms must not be enabled until the business has reviewed who can access the owner inbox, protected account credentials, limited access to enquiry information and established a process for responding to suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No website can guarantee absolute security.
Applicable privacy and data-breach obligations, including any notification requirements, must be confirmed for the final business structure and services before launch.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to submit an enquiry or use the Health Check. You can clear a locally saved Project Builder draft through your browser's site-data settings. Do not submit personal details until the final notice and secure delivery arrangements are in place.
Once the enquiry service is configured, a privacy question or request to access, correct or delete enquiry information can be sent through the contact page. The enquiry recipient is intended to remain a private owner inbox and will not be displayed on the website. That contact route is not yet configured for live delivery, so this draft does not yet provide a verified privacy-request channel. A working, monitored method must be confirmed before launch.
Applicable rights and response requirements depend on which privacy laws cover the business and the circumstances of a request. These must be confirmed when the legal operator is established.
AI-related services
Buildgrove may help clients assess or develop software that adapts AI capabilities to a business workflow. This describes a possible client service; it does not mean this website currently sends visitor enquiries or Project Builder answers to an AI provider. No AI provider has been selected for this website.
If an AI feature is proposed for a client project, its provider, purpose, data access, safeguards and any retention or overseas processing should be assessed and agreed for that project before personal information is sent to it.
Links to other websites
This website may link to other organisations or services. Their websites operate under their own privacy practices; check their notices before providing information to them.
Changes and complaints
This notice will need to be updated when the legal business identity is confirmed, provider settings are selected, tracking or AI features change, or retention and request-handling procedures are decided. The final version should show its effective or updated date.
If you have a privacy concern, use the confirmed privacy contact method once it is published. If Australian privacy law applies and a complaint is not resolved, information about making a complaint is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
This is a working website draft, not legal advice. Have the final notice and the actual data-handling arrangements reviewed by a suitably qualified Australian privacy professional before launch.
